Karnataka Common Entrance Test(KCET)

Purpose:

It is the primary exam for admission to engineering colleges in Karnataka, including both government and private institutions.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have completed 12th grade (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.

Exam Pattern:

  • The exam consists of 4 papers: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (for medical courses).
  • Each paper is of 60 marks, with 60 questions in multiple-choice format.
  • Total duration: 80 minutes for each subject.
