Nepalgunj Medical College

The Lord Buddha Educational Academy (LE) was founded with the intention of advancing the idea by offering superior medical care. In order to satisfy their social responsibility, a number of well-known educators, doctors, and other socially conscious individuals banded together, and soon after "Nepalgunj Medical College was founded." The college launched its MBBS programme in 1997, its nursing programme in 2000, and its postgraduate programme (NGMC) in 2007 in response to the advice of the Medical Councils of Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, and the SARC, among other nations. It adheres to the syllabus set forth by Kathmandu University.

The college operates two well-equipped teaching hospitals, one in Kohalpur, which has 830 beds, and another in Nepalgunj, which has 220 beds, located in the district's two major cities. NGMC's motto is "Excellence in Medical Education." The college boasts an abundance of highly skilled specialists in every discipline, together with state-of-the-art equipment and ample human resources. An additional feature of the college's appeal is its hosting of seminars, conferences, and guest lectures by internationally renowned experts in the field of medical science. NGMC is effective in delivering top-notch medical care and graduating qualified, accountable medical professionals that can benefit the country.

Connected to Kathmandu University, NGMC provides postgraduate MD/MS, MBBS, and BSc Nursing programmes, bolstered by two teaching hospitals in Kohalpur and Nepalgunj, with 550 and 250 beds, respectively. Our state-of-the-art facilities and knowledgeable faculty guarantee an outstanding educational experience. Since its founding in 1997, NGMC has consistently improved medical education. It started with the MBBS programme and added nursing and postgraduate MD/MS courses in 2000 and 2007, respectively.

Our graduates perform exceptionally well both domestically and internationally, and they are able to sit for international exams such as the USMLE and PLAB because of our listing in the "World Directory of Medical Schools".
