Situated at the base of a peaceful mound in Attarkhel, Jorpati, approximately 11 km northeast of Kathmandu city, is Nepal Medical College Pvt. Ltd. (NMC). The peaceful setting is perfect for a teaching hospital and medical college. Some of the nearby sights are the pine-covered Gokarna Hillock to the north, the Bagmati River bridge crossing Gokarna Satari Park to the east, and the university surrounded by tree-lined terraces to the west. The major southwest gate leads to the NMC campus, which includes the college and the Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital (NMCTH).

Academic facilities, a library, dorms housing both male and female students, and NMCTH are all located on campus. Essential for the first two academic years of the MBBS curriculum are the departments of Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Physiology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Human Anatomy, Medical Microbiology, and Pathology at NMC.

Academic buildings, a library, dorms for both male and female students, and NMCTH are all located on campus. For the first two years of the MBBS programme, the college offers departments of Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Physiology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Human Anatomy, Medical Microbiology, and Pathology. For the remaining years of the MBBS programme, education and medical care are provided by the departments of anesthesiology, dentistry, dermatology, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, otorhinolaryngology, paediatrics, psychiatry, radiology, and surgery.

Complete clinical lab, radiology, operating rooms, intensive care unit, critical care unit, neonatal intensive care unit, hemodialysis, ambulance service, and more are available on campus. Pulmonary function testing, ultrasound, endoscopy, and echocardiography are among the available services. Pathology, haematology, microbiology, and biochemistry specialists provide academic and medical services.
