KIST Medical College (KISTMC) is a 500-bed hospital with state-of-the-art amenities and excellent infrastructure that is accredited by the Nepal Medical Council. BS 2062 (2006 AD) saw the founding of KIST Medical College Pvt. Ltd, which is connected to Tribhuvan University's Institute of Medicine. Located in Mahalaxmi Municipality-1, Imadol, Lalitpur, the College is run by its Executive Committee and Board of Directors. The facility has 550 beds in its comprehensive teaching hospital and a separate dentistry hospital.
Management
Chairman Er. Ashish Thapa and Managing Director Dr. Abishek Thapa oversee the College. Meetings are open to the Matron/Assistant Matron and other officials as needed. Specific duties are delegated to each EC member in order to guarantee the smooth operation of academic affairs and hospital services. The EC meets once a week on average to decide on policy issues.
