The private medical school Kathmandu Medical College and Teaching Hospital (KMCTH) is situated in Nepal's capital city of Kathmandu. KMC was founded in 1997 and is completely recognised by the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) and the Nepal Medical Council (NMC). It is associated with Kathmandu University (KU). It is accepted that working at KMCTH prepared doctors to take postgraduate entrance exams offered by various universities in Nepal and elsewhere.
KMC has two primary campuses where it operates: the clinical sciences campus is located in Sinamangal, Kathmandu, and the basic sciences campus is located in Duwakot, Bhaktapur. The main hospital is located near Tribhuvan International Airport in Sinamangal. Furthermore, a community hospital has been constructed close to the Duwakot campus of basic sciences. Emergency services and General OPD services have already commenced on the first and second floors of the 11-storey building in Duwakot.
The MBBS programme at Kathmandu Medical College and Teaching Hospital (KMCTH) enrols about 100 students per year. Applicants to the MBBS programme must be at least 17 years old at the time of application and meet the program's requirements.

Our grads have an outstanding success percentage on these tests. around 2,000 medical graduates and hundreds of postgraduates and nurses have graduated from our programme to date, and they are employed successfully in healthcare systems all around the world.
